Lunch at le gran
The food are excellent and also the service, we all enjoyed very much. I could only say the bathroom a little too far and the layout of the restaurant and the table are to close with other tables. Other than that they're all ok.
Elegant and Classical
Good interior, comfortable room and far from outside noise. I could stay pleasantly with minimum effect from demonstration in the central Jakarta. I want an Indonesian restaurant inside instead of Japanese.
A hidden gem compared to other Hotel Chain
We have been dining here since I was a teenager. The foods have never disappoint especially their Indonesian selections which is by far better than most 5 star hotels in Jakarta. Even though I find it declining compared to what it used to, the food are still good. The ambience is great. It small space makes it a much more romantic and intimate place to eat. The waiters are highly professional, you’ll never see an empty cup/plate not being taken care off. Such a friendly and warm service team. To my surprise, the head waiter here remembers my name even though I haven’t come here for more than 5 years. Highly recommended!
Outstanding experience!
I have now stayed twice at the Gran Mahakam and have had two great experiences. The staff are so friendly and always go above and beyond, the rooms are excellent and the food is fantastic particularly the Japanese restaurant.
They took care of us like a royalty
The service, the people, the sincerity are top notch! Timeless luxury.... high quality facility with execellent touch to the details. They have Aoki restaurant where personally I think it is the best Japanese resto in the town - try their shabu shabu! Le gran resto was also good. Supperb!

From the welcome at the door with gentle greetings, at checkin with chilled lychee iced tea, to the room cleaning, promptly arranged in-room massage, fast check for left-behinds at checkout, I had the best experience.
Romantic Gateway
Weekendstay with my wife, they have package included lunch or dinner with reasonable price. My wife really loved the interior design, lobby so beautiful full of flower.The room not too big but nice, old but well maintained. Le Gran cafe also served delicious food.
